Our Little Learners Farm Program is a joyful, hands-on early childhood experience designed for children ages 2–6. Rooted in play-based learning and meaningful connection, this program blends early academic skills with nature-based exploration on the farm.

What does our time together
look like?
Little Learners is a special time set aside each week to slow down, connect, and experience learning together.
No prep. No planning. No pressure.
We take care of everything—creating a beautiful, engaging environment filled with hands-on activities, farm experiences, and early learning opportunities—so you can simply show up and be present with your child.

Each session begins with an engaging read-aloud time, where children build listening comprehension, vocabulary, and a love for stories. Caregivers are invited to sit alongside their child, sharing in the experience and modeling a love for learning together.
Children are gently introduced to foundational skills through letter and number recognition activities. Through songs, movement, games, and hands-on materials, learners explore the alphabet, practice early phonics, and build number sense in a developmentally appropriate way—all while caregivers participate, encourage, and celebrate their child’s growth.
A key part of our program is farm exploration, where children interact with animals such as chickens, goats, rabbits, and more. These shared experiences create meaningful moments of wonder, curiosity, and connection between caregiver and child.
We also provide rich sensory play opportunities, including water play, mud kitchens, nature bins, and seasonal activities. These moments invite both children and caregivers to engage side by side—supporting fine motor development, creativity, and social-emotional growth in a natural, joyful way.
Our nurturing environment encourages children to learn at their own pace while building confidence, independence, and a lifelong love of learning.

A Day at Agape Adventures Academy
STEM
At Agape Adventures Academy, STEM comes alive through hands-on exploration, problem-solving, and real-world application—all rooted in our outdoor, farm-based environment. Rather than learning science, technology, engineering, and math in isolation, students experience these concepts as they naturally unfold in daily life on the farm.
Our past STEM projects and activities have included engineering challenges, simple machines, building and design tasks, nature-based experiments, measurement and data collection, and observation of natural systems such as soil, water, plants, animals, and weather. Children learn by asking questions, testing ideas, making adjustments, and discovering that mistakes are an important part of the learning process.
STEM at Agape is intentionally collaborative, and age-appropriate, encouraging creativity, critical thinking, and perseverance. Whether constructing shelters, experimenting with materials, measuring garden growth, or solving real problems that arise on the farm, students develop confidence in their ability to think logically, work as a team, and apply academic concepts in meaningful ways.
Gardening
Gardening at Agape Adventures Academy is a hands-on learning experience that connects children to the land, the seasons, and the source of their food. Students participate in the full growing cycle—from soil preparation and planting to watering, harvesting, and seed saving—developing both practical skills and a deeper respect for our creation.
Past gardening projects have included planting seasonal crops, tending raised beds, observing plant life cycles, composting, measuring growth, and learning how weather and soil impact plant health. Through daily interaction with the garden, children naturally explore science, math, responsibility, and patience.
Our gardening program encourages students to slow down, observe closely, and take ownership of their work. Children learn that growth takes time and care, and that small, consistent efforts lead to meaningful results. Gardening fosters independence, stewardship, and gratitude—while helping students build confidence through nurturing something living and seeing the fruit of their labor and how a little preparation goes a long way!
Animal Husbandry
Animal husbandry at Agape Adventures Academy teaches children responsibility, empathy, and respect through daily, hands-on care of farm animals. Students actively participate in age-appropriate animal care routines, learning what it means to tend to living creatures with kindness, consistency, and purpose.
Past animal husbandry activities have included feeding and watering animals, cleaning enclosures, observing animal behavior, learning about animal needs, health, and habitats, and understanding the role animals play in our food system and farm ecosystem. These experiences help children develop awareness of cause and effect, routine, and accountability.
Through working with animals, students learn valuable life lessons such as patience, self-control, teamwork, and compassion. Animal husbandry at Agape goes beyond basic care—it builds confidence, character, and a sense of stewardship, encouraging children to honor the responsibility of caring for God’s creation while forming meaningful connections with the animals on the farm.
