Story
Welcome! I'm so glad you're here. My name is Desiree, and I am the owner and operator of Agape Family Farm. My two elementary-aged children and I are heading into our 5th year homeschooling! Homeschooling was never a consideration when my children were babies. However, when changes within the public system did not align with my values, it lead me to consider alternative modes of education.
During this same time, I had a personal conviction about our food system and wanted a way to teach my children, through consistent interactions with animals and gardening, where our food actually comes from (surprise, it’s not the store!) and the hard work that goes into growing anything edible.
These challenges led to the creation of Agape Family Farm, with our core offering being an academic farm camp. I have the privilege of working alongside my family and some amazing friends to build this vision for the community.

Outdoors
We aim to provide a safe outdoor space where kids can experience a variety of hands on sensory activities, while creating a balance of creative free play and structured learning time. Taking care of farm animals, planting and maintaining a garden and learning about small farm homestead practices awaits your children every week.

Education
You remain the primary educator & the decision maker of your child's curriculum. We come alongside & help you reinforce math & language arts concepts during our structured lesson time. History, science & social studies learning will be hands on activities with the core emphasis & foundation being about the world we live in.

We are dedicated to creating a unique and enriching experience for kids and their families. Our mission is to inspire and empower families to learn, grow, and develop lasting relationships within a supportive community.
