About the event

🐓 We will have a local chef and butcher; Kaci McCulloch walk you through how to process a chicken from start to finish. We will be processing Bresse chickens that have been raised on this property on an all organic (no soy) diet, and finished off on organic cracked corn & raw milk, free ranging on natural land with lots of bugs and kitchen scraps. You will get hands on experience! We will be sharing all about this favorite dual purpose breed; one that you can get eggs and meat from!

This is a family friendly event. Kids can be involved as much or as little as they want. We will have a care-giver overlooking the children if they want to play on the playground or in the mud kitchen so parents can be hands-on with the processing!

⌚️ June 29th at 10AM

We will begin processing at 10:15.

Address will be sent after PAYMENT is received. Location is off of Cool Valley and Saddleback Road in Valley Center, CA.

➡️ Meet Chef Kaci McCulloch 👩🏽‍🌾

Artisan Butcher, Chef, and Mother

Kaci has been crafting her whole animal butchery skills for the last 9 years. She is passionate about sharing her knowledge with others to continue the essential skill of animal processing. “Knowing where our food comes from and teaching our children why we need to respect animals and the purpose they have in our food system is so impactful and not something to take lightly. I have chosen to hold myself responsible to share what I’ve learned as a way to give back to those who took the time to teach me. I enjoy making this eye opening concept as approachable as possible for kids. The conversation is where it starts… children are brilliant in their own right and deserve to have humbling experiences that change the way they look at the world… for the better.

"Come join me in a hands-on learning experience that will reshape your perception of whole animal butchery." -Kaci
